This is what AirBnB is for: settings that a hotel just can't provide. We deeply appreciate the hosts' work to renovate a historic warehouse and provide a comfortable modern loft that still maintains the building's character. We loved the large window with its expansive view across the Mississippi River and Eads Bridge. Watching barge traffic was a treat. The open kitchen made staying in one evening a delight, while access to the light rail right next door made going out to eat and explore just as worthwhile. This loft also had simple but important details many hotels get wrong. There were lights and nightstands on BOTH sides of the bed. The bedroom was actually dark and quiet. The bathroom was a proper bathroom, not a glass cube with no privacy (looking at you, overly modern hotels). The HVAC system could actually be set to stay on or off instead of cycling constantly and waking you up. It felt like a home we could live in, not a sterile room we wanted to get out of.

The location and unit was exactly as advertised, and my guest and I were very pleased. The host was always quick with answering any questions I had, and I’d recommend this posting to anyone visiting the St. Louis area.

Loved my stay! I’m a picky traveler but this was one of my fav Airbnb’s. Parking was super easy and feel free to park in front of the building if you need to run in and out instead of going to the parking space inside of the gate. The area is perfect for access to downtown, south St. Louis, Illinois bridge is right there, and I can not forget about the casinos and arch all steps from The apartment. I enjoyed the view! I will most definitely return once the weather warms up a bit to get the true experience of this wonderful property. Book it!

We had a great stay at Rachel’s place. Very cute loft style unit with exposed brick. Very walkable to things near by. We would definitely stay again if we returned to St. Louis.

I was a long term guest in Rachel’s property during my house renovation and I felt completely at home. It was very clean, spacious, stocked with everything you need, and in a great location with amazing views. Rachel was very helpful and responded quickly whenever I had questions! Wish I could give a rating higher than 5 starts but since 5 is the max, I’ll say 5+++ I would highly recommend staying there and would come back if I ever needed!

Rideshares are readily available, and the nearby MetroLink station offers easy access to the airport and other city highlights. Secure parking is available at an adjacent private lot for an additional fee.
